Actually the curent global crisis has determined housing prices to go down while gold went up. That surely created a rift between the parallel pricing. Gold seems to have won a lot with the crisis as its price went sky high compared to what it used to be. People that invested in gold would have won a lot of money with the global crisis.

Great article. It appears that on Wall Street, home builders are finally in the bottoming process. Lennar Homes (LEN) looks solid but there is not telling how long a sideways bottoming process can last.
