LinkedIn seems to me to be a site where headhunters and recruiters prowl for targets. I get almost no value from LinkedIn. I guess if you are calling on IT managers of Fortune 500 companies it would be an easy way to get contact info but not much else. I keep hearing about several billion dollar valuations and potential IPO talk for LinkedIn. I don't get it. I know they have premium paid accounts (mostly held by recruiters I would assume) and some advertising revenue, but I don't see a meaningful service in LinkedIn. Twitter provides a much faster and personalized forum for connection than does LinkedIn. P.S. - Thanks for the good wrok on your blog.
